Asked all the time, answered honestly.

Sixteen real questions from real Valley homeowners. If yours isn’t here, the phone line is a human, not a menu.

🏄 Getting started

How quickly can service start?
Most new customers get their first weekly visit within 3–5 business days of saying yes. During the off-season we can often start same-week. Rescues and no-flow repairs jump the line.
What happens at the free poolside visit?
A certified tech tests your water, checks the equipment pad, measures the pool, and answers anything you want to know. You get a written plan and price before we leave — no pressure, no clipboard theatrics.
Do you service my neighborhood?
We run routes across Phoenix, Scottsdale, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Mesa, Paradise Valley, and Ahwatukee. On the edge of the map? Check your address — routes stretch a little further every season.
I just bought a house with a neglected pool. Where do I start?
Congratulations — and don’t panic. Send us photos and we’ll tell you whether it needs a green-to-clean rescue, a drain and refill, or just a deep clean and a weekly plan. New-owner Pool School is included with your first month.

📅 Service & scheduling

Do I need to be home during service?
Nope! As long as we have gate access, you don’t need to be home. We’ll text you a service report with photos and chemistry readings after every visit — most customers meet their tech once and then just enjoy the texts.
Will I have the same technician every week?
Yes — routes are owned by one tech, so the same person services your pool on the same day each week. When your tech is on vacation, a supervisor covers the route and your report says so.
What about my dogs?
We love a good supervisor. Just tell us they’ll be in the yard so your tech knows to expect company. For dogs who take security seriously, we’ll coordinate a gate-side schedule with you.
What happens after a monsoon storm?
Trucks run storm sweeps through their own neighborhoods after major blows — heavy-debris pools get a no-charge touch-up, and chemistry gets adjusted for the dust load. Member pools that turn green between visits are rescued free.

💰 Pricing & billing

Are chemicals included in the monthly price?
Yes — chlorine, acid, stabilizer, and basic balancing chemicals are included in every plan. Specialty products (algaecide, metal sequestrant, clarifier) are billed at cost, and only when actually needed — it’ll be in your report.
Is there a contract or commitment?
Never. Every plan is month-to-month. Pause for vacation, skip a week, or cancel anytime with zero fees. We’d rather re-earn your business weekly than trap it annually.
How does billing work?
Card on file, billed monthly on the 1st, receipt by email. Repairs are always quoted and approved separately before any work — nothing ever just “shows up” on a bill.
Why do prices vary by pool?
Gallons, trees, spas, and water features. A 12,000-gallon play pool under open sky needs less time and chemistry than a 30,000-gallon resort yard beneath two mesquites. The poolside visit is how we land your exact number.

🧪 Water & equipment

My pool is green right now. How fast can you fix it?
Most rescues run 3–5 days, and we guarantee the day count we quote. Send a photo and you’ll usually have a number within the hour. The full process is on our Green-to-Clean page.
Can you fix equipment during a regular visit?
Small fixes, yes — o-rings, baskets, minor leaks get handled on the spot. Bigger jobs (pumps, heaters, salt cells) get a flat-rate quote first, usually scheduled within the week. Members get priority and free diagnostics.
Salt pool or chlorine pool — do you service both?
Both, happily. Salt pools still need the same testing, brushing, and balancing — plus cell cleaning that desert hard water makes non-optional. We’ll also give you a straight answer on whether salt is right for your water.
Do I really need to drain my pool every few years?
In the Valley, usually yes — every 3–5 years as dissolved solids and hardness climb. We track your TDS trend in the weekly readings and tell you a season ahead of time, so it’s a planned expense, never a surprise.
